Voice Overlay??? Note Off, Poly, Mono

Hi guys.
I'm using 2 different 808 sounds on 2 different pads... I know you can choose MONO from the voice overlay section but how can you make 2 pads MONO voice overlay.

For example... I want the 2 different 808 sounds to go back and forth with out going over each other. Basically choosing MONO for one pad. But I need it to be on both pads where one triggers the other to stop.

Kinda like when you have an opened and closed hi hat and you want the opened hi hat pad to trigger the hi hat pad off when you hit it.

Hope this makes sense...

Anyone know how to do that?

try hitting open window under the voice overlap section.
