F**kin interwebs killed us off.

I'm actually glad its quiet here, but there are still cats asking the 'right ' questions occasionally.

What I find more perplexing is the lack of flaming at these noobs!

Peace

most of the records you find whilst digging suck too
well from my experience.. all the good stores around here dont allow you to listen to them first.. i mean theyre cheap, so you buy bulk..

i dont see the problem with getting a break from a cd, i mean at least the quality is good, if you want it to sound good then rough it up whatever

other samples on the other hand definitely dont download them but still a breaks just a break, it's how you chop it up and use it that counts

some of us dont live in **** new york or big cities and dont just have dope record stores on every corner

you cunts are so uptight

drum and bass sites are more than happy to share shit, all you **** do is just whinge

i mean say i **** give people on here some samples to chop so they can learn how to use theyre mpcs.. how the **** is that bad?

how else are they gonna learn?

spend weeks and weeks with a silent machine until they can locate one ok drum break that's probably only just worth chopping so you dont give them shit about ripping it off a cd because they went 'diggin' dawwwggg

**** outta here

^^^ calm the f@!k down drukqs, don't take it that way. look man I don't think any one in here is out to flame newbies. It's just that this forum was created to talk, show and share info on records and artist. lately it's been posts just asking for hand outs and I don't even mind those, but you can tell these dudes don't digg at all (be it store or net, I don't care  ). at one point ppl need to start adding on instead of just taking. if you look @ my post count you can tell I don't post up a lot, but when i do it's mostly in here because it's about the music more than what mp you using or do I go with an daw or vst? and when you get a lot of the posts as I stated before than it sort of defeats the cause of these forum. so don't trip my man, it's not that type of drama in here. there's some good guys in here EDE and MPC4k come to mind right away and hey if it's any thing I've gone over a month w/out finding a break at all so it is what it is. Relax is the key word here. it'll start poppin around here again trust me.

..1..

@drukqs

Personally I don't give a ish where you get sounds from, purists will cry vinyl's the only way, but at the end of the day a sampled sound is a sampled sound.

What will get peeps ire up is when heads come into a 'crate diggin' forum and post up sounds ripped from CDs, or ask silly questions that google or a forum search would have answered for them in a half second.

or ask how to hook up a turntable with a 'dj' in there forum handle

youre a dummy. the cunts you refer to are the majority of people in this forum. you say boohoo i dont live in ny so i cant grip records easily, well in ny there arent any shops that are brimming w/ untouched raers. ny might be the most heavily 'dug' area globally. Think of the producers in ny all digging the same shops.. Check for upcoming reocird conventions save your dough and go big when they arrive.. you ask how else the newbs are gonna learn.. well im not so concerned w/ the newbs and how they learn but i do know that when they find a break and chop it themselves theyll feel a certain sense of accomplishment that wont come the other way.. if they cant get past these production hurdles fuc!< em they wont be around long anyway. yes, mnost of the ish i see in shops is garbage thats why its called digging. you must dig. i was in the thrift store w/ some really nasty smelling stacks for a few hours all i found was ramsey lewis 'sun goddess'. its a tight lp but i had to go through a thousand pieces to find that one lp. you talk about drum and bass sites being so caring and supportive well, what are you waiting for then? get on the next level, you (generally) ar ethe people this diggin forum can do without haviong around. i dont claim to know sh!t really but your king-o-herbs status is only gonna drive aqway those who actually have knowledge to share in this forum. just put your web links to breaks in another forum. sorry i usually try to be peace but the recent threads in here got me burnt on this forum.. seee yall at soulstrut..

:!: :!:

Listen i just don't agree with that.

Thats a pretty ignorant comment. (some) People go on forums to learn. Not everybody who is a member is a hardcore digger wanting to show off their latest Czech prog
I can uderstand why some people go crazy at cats wanting to trade mp3s and shyt, but theres no need to be such asses. Where i come from a bit of politeness gets you a long way.

Flaming is why some cats don't even register. They just look around looking for answers avoiding chatting with 'the unfriendly locals'. It's annoying when you don't know something and someone is just laughing in your face at your noobiness.

It's hard not to go crazy when a noob asks a pretty dumb question but you just need to try and explain it in plain english (or whatever **** language), speak to cats nicely and point them in the direction (but not doing the work for them). Thats what sets a good teacher from a bad teacher.

It makes me happy to give some useful advice and help someone on their journey. Insulting and getting at newbs is Selfish

Some of us need to understand what we were like when we were noobs.
Flaming is lame. People who do it are just a bunch of fat collector nerds with no friends hiding behind an avatar insulting people.

If your a fat flaming, showoff collector go on Soulstrut.
Some need to be a little more understanding.

Lets just share knowledge and make music. . .
