The MPC60 OS upgrade that supports Roger Linn Designs"MARION SYSTEMS SCSI board" is installed as a set of four ROM chips.

The floppy disk drive is not required.

The thing was that Dave from VST couldn't tell me that this would work if my floppy drive problem lies elsewhere. It could be that the electronics problem I have could interfere with the SCSI kit. Bruce from Forat told me that the SCSI kit will work.

I'm a bit scared to spend the money on the OS and the SCSI kit if I'm not 100% sure that this will solve my problem of not being able to save/load.

Yesterday I got the service manual though. Since I'm a bit short on cash at the moment I'm gonna have a technician take a look at it to find out what the problem is. If I know exactly what the problem is, I can either repair that or just install the SCSI kit if the problem doesn't interfere with that. My first guess would be a busted floppy disk drive controller.

did you finally found a solution for your Floppy drive in your MPC60?

i just got MPC3000LE and i get same errors as you , cannot format , ride or read any floppies
