Yeah my 3000 was mad dirty with grease and shit andthe buttons were all dirty and had shit stuck to them. So I took the top off and cleaned all around the buttons looks like the machine is brand new now.

you got the one with black pads from VST. I was going to but his price was too high.

Nah I didn't buy it from Nick @ VST his just looks like mine. His price is about the going price for 3000's especially how clean his is with a new backlight & black pads. I'm selling mine right now for $1350 but I bought it for $700 and just spent $750 @ VST to have new buttons & new backlight & some other stuff done cause this thing was inoperable before but now this machine internally is brand new.

I'm over it. Right now I just sample dump from it and sample dump from the XL. I only use 3000 to sequence and sample. The XL is just more user friendly for me.

Iam shocked you are keeping the xl over the 3k? whats going on with this picture? you sample on the xl and resample in to the 3000 and vise versa?
why? and why the xl over the 3000? this is a business of sound not features. sound is what we are measured on not what machine as time stretching.

I sample into the 3000 and then dump to the XL and then dump back to the 3000 and sequence everything on the 3000.
I started off using the XL so that's why I like it. I love the 3000 for the sampler and the sequencer only. For me the workflow to make beats is just too long for me. On my XL it takes me half the time. I am pretty busy so time is valuable. I don't like to sit make beats off and on for like 3-5 days. I don't even use timestretch on the XL that shiet takes forever I just do it manually.
I was gonna buy Rohan's upgrade and keep it but I am saving to buy a house right now so I just really want to sell it.

why dump into the xl is you have a 3000? aside from chopping visually, what advantage is there?

/\ Probably zone chopping and the graphic editing. That's the only reason I would think anyone would do that.

Yeah it's just faster on the XL.
