Diference Between 4000 Studio A and Studio D

I am looking to upgrade my equipment to an MP 4000. The question that I have is what is the difference between the Studio A and the Studio D and what are the advantages between the 2 as far as beat making and recording. I need some help! thanks!

studio A has the 8 out TRS board ( IB-48P )

studio D has the 2 in 8 out adat board ( IB-4ADT ) and the S/PDIF WordClock ( IB-4D )
