WON'T READ ZIP DISK!!

SUP HEADS: SO MY 3000 FOR SOME REASON ISN'T READING THE ZIP DISK.

IT'S THE SAME DISK I USE WITH MY 2000XL. IS THAT A PROBLEM?

ALSO, IS THERE ANYTHING I COULD DO ABOUT THE DARK LEAD, I NEED A FLASHLIGHT TO SEE WHAT ON THE SCREEN. AND YES, I'VE TRIED ADJUSTING IT, LOL.

I'M NEW TO THE 3000 SO IS THE SCREEN THAT MUCH DARKER THAN A 2000'S SCREEN?

Yeah I wouldn't use that zip you need a formatted 3000.

DISK - 9 - 4 FORMAT A SCSI HARD DISK

You'll have to tell the MPC which SCSI adress you want to format, which usually is between 5 and 7.

You can make as many partitions you want (you can't make folders on a 3000, but the partitions may function as folders). I make as many as possible (A-Z) and only store one beat in each partition. Each partition an a 100MB ZIP is then 3736kb, which for me is enough for a beat.

And READ THE MANUAL if you havent.
