Hi

I just tried to set up my mpc to send midi commands to my computer, but when i connected my M-Audio Uno (The line saying "to midi out" to midi out and "to midi in" to midi in, you get the deal) it wasn't showing up. Normally with the Uno you can see if there's a signal from the outgoing and ingoing signals, but nothing showing up. I have no problems connecting it to my Microkorg.

I syncronized the midi to 1 and B, and connected the lines to those plugs. I tried to search for the problem, but couldn't find any solutions. And Yes i'm using Vista, but still, my microkorg works with midi.

Hope you can help me out

check your manual

they show you how to send midi signals from your mpc to an external device...

it should be in the main screen section and NOT the midi section or you can look in the index for "midi output"

using the midi window your basically setting up for midi machine code or midi time clock, not sending midi notes via the pads....

if memory serves the text you want to have highlighted and changed is in the bottom left of the main window, when you turn your dial it should read 1a 2a 3a 4a, or something similar....

Thanks, actually the problem was that midi was turned off in the main screen. Now i just have to learn how to sync it with Acid pro, or perhaps another program.
