2000 classic vs. 3000

I put up a vote for ya on the 3k.

I dont have either. I have a Akai s950 and a EPS-M - I am thinking of fooling with a 3000. I have bout 1200.00 to spend due to many hours of OT. I dont want a 1000 or a 2500 dont care for the numark mpc's/

ha! I started on a 2000, and when i got a 3kLE w/zip, my 2k became best friends with a flight case! Sure u can see the chops in a 2k, but u can chop a lot faster in a PC then u can on any MPC. Plus with the 3.50 OS it's alot more up to date.

is the o/s worth the money?

You hit the nail on the head with that response. That's exactly what I was thinking.Another question for the xl users,does the case on the xl rattle when hitting pads 13 and ect. like my classic?
