what exactly do i need

alright, so i want to make beats using vinyls. I know i need a mpc and definetely a decent turntable, are there any other necessities? do i really need a mixer? what kind of turntable should i get? i guess i'm just asking what i should get for my first set up that will work fine but not be too **** expensive. thanks everyone

- used sl1200 or sl1210
- mixer or preamp (if you're not into skratching, get a good preamp)
- mpc (2000xl might be your best bet if you're on a tight budget)

And if you get that and master that, you're gonna want more.
