FIRST MPC

Wassup everebody!
I used to make beats in Frooty Loops. I never had MPC but now i desided to get me one. Problem is that music aquipment shops in my country don't sale MPCs so i never had chance to try it. So I'm not realy sure which one is best 4 me 2 start with. By the information that I got from the internet, I like 2000xl mcd and 2500.

Could U as an MPC users please advise me which one would B better 4 me 2 order?

All MPCs do basically the same thing. What do want from ur mpc?

I think you would be best off starting with an MPC1000 - it is affordable and has USB connectivity so you can transfer samples from your PC

Choppin' samples, time stetching, good quality of sound e.t.c.
I want it to work at the studio so i do not realy care about portability but i do care about the price.

The 2000xl MCD doesn't have a USB port.
However, you can easily buy an external USB multi-card reader/writer for your PC or MAC to transfer files.
Just make sure you buy one that's USB 2.0, since the file transfer is much quicker. These readers are backwards compatible (incase your USB ports are only USB 1.1). So you'll have no problem at all.

is the USB thing really that important? personally I don't find it faster to chop on the computer than on the MPC.

I think ima get me MPC 2000xl-MCD and I already got USB multi-cart reader/writer in my computer.
Here's anotha question: does MPC have some simple sound effects like reeverb, delay e.t.c. or I'll need some extra equipment for that?

I agree. It takes time to chop samples on a computer. Fellas on YouTube do it much faster with MCP.

2500 has usb. Plus it's got a card reader too (or the option for one). 2kxl mcd does'nt have a hard drive or cd/rw either, but the 2500 does. Just some facts to consider.
