Ok for loading i know the basics yadda yadda yadda.....Is there a way to load some sounds from a disk, then record your beat or whatever. Then after load up another disk with different sounds? When i try it whatever i just recorded for a sequence gets all F'd up it just plays my recorded shit with a bunch of random sounds from the other disk i just loaded. I suck at saving ish right now. I can't figure out how to save a beat i recorded. I know about the save modes but which one am i sappose to select? When i try to save it doesnt work and i loose my work. If anyone can help me out i would much appreciate it.

im guessing you have an mpc 2000. with that model you can only have one program loaded. thats why when you load another program it plays the beat with a different sound. in order to save a beat on your mp you have to name the program, save it, and then name the sequences and save it. its best to save them both with the same name so you can find them later. after you do that you can do whatever you like wuth your beat
