So I went to this thrift shop by my place and I see a plastic box with some records. I ask the guy how much for per record and he tells me $ .50 so right off the jump you know what I do...get down and start diggin'. After a few minutes he asks me if I'm going to buy any because he was closing in 15 minutes. So I say ok "how much for the box". He says "fuk it bro gimmie $5". Now we talkin' :!: . On the way out hes like "you some kind of collector or something 'cus i got more if you like". So as any digger would do I cheer in my skull :D but with the poker face I say "sure let me see them". He comes out with a box and some crates! Now the games a changin'. I ask how much for all of it. He says "whatever bro $20". WHAT!!! So I slide him a 20 and as I'm loading the car he comes outside and says "I got one more box, take it". He gives me a half full box and a smaller box with about 30 45's in it!!

Oh and its mostly jazz, old rock, classical and some real oscure brazilian sh!t. Not bad eh?

Funny ish.

I didn't come up with boxes and boxes like homie did; but, I did find the Lootpack "crate diggin'" loop the other day on a Vanilla Fudge record that my homeboys mom had given to me a few years ago. The snare is off the hook. Madlib's a fool for that one!

Peace

in manhatten its not too hard to spot a crate being thrown out. I had found half of crate of some old "smoke weed and trip out" jazz...
