Card Reader or USB ZIP

What up pimps.
I've been using my MPC 2000 for 10 years now and I need to upgrade and organize all my drums. I have the 2000 classic MPC with the 8 outs.

I see the card reader and it looks like I have to buy an external card reader since I have a 2000 classic... Sounds too expensive.

What about leaving my Iomega SCSI zip 100 connected to my MPC. Then I buy a USB Zip that can use the same zip disks. Then connect to my MAC Pro and use the MPC Prg Maker, save .prg file to the USB zip drive. Then just move the zip disk to the scsi zip drive that is still connected to my MPC.

Will my classic 2000 not be compatible with the MAC or the USB zip?

Can I even use the MPC Prg Maker program with the classic 2000 MPC???

I drag and drop wavs to an usb zip. Then i used an external zip on the 2000.
I couldn't get MpcPgmMaker to work right. so test it out first.
