usb noise

does any know what the reason my 1000 would make noise after hooking up the usb cable

are you using a laptop computer?

no i have an apple g5 thats a couple of years old. its weird it does the same thing when i usb my fantom x6. im starting to think its something with my computer. but the usb inputs on the computer work with everything else i have no problems when i usb my hard drive or anything else like that

i'm wondering if it's the USB cable that you're using.
if you have any other cables, try them out and see if that helps.
it's possible that the shielding on the cable could be the problem. but we won't know until you go through the process of elimination.
if i can think of anything else to suggest, i'll let you know. but give my suggestion a try anyway and let me know whats happening.
