Why would someone want to assign the tap tempo to a pad? How can you assign a sound to it and not effect the tempo? I guess it's a nice feature it the tap-tempo button breaks, but that's kills 4 pads that you can assign a sample, or am I wrong?

You know what i would like to see:

drums loaded, then just jam on the pads till u feel the live drum u do hit record and it auto graps your tempo, i find it so anoying that i have to record a hihat and snare then set the bpm to the tempo that i had in my mind mostly i lost my idea already then

anyone agree ?

that would be cool, but I'm afraid it would be a very diffucult feature to implement, simply because the TAP TEMPO works by calculating the average time between hits on quartes, and if you give very different intervals of hits MPC (hits on quarter, then on 16th, then back to quartes) would not be able to determine the tempo. It could be great if the TAP TEMPO button would works the function is named after while on a specific page (e.g. TIMING CORRECT or whatsoever..).
