damn does it take long for akai to mail your RAM???

and rebates tend to be kind of slow, did they give a time frame on the rebate slip? You could probably call or e-mail someone to check on your status if you are really worried about it.

like all mail in rebates,it takes a while to get your stuff back in the mail period.According to the akai rebate details the card won't be sent out until 12-16 weeks after they received your info and who knows how long that will take...I know that was probably one of the reasons why you went for a new mpc1k and free is free but if you want to spend about 20-25 bucks you can get some good deals on compatible ram on ebay...thats what i did..18 dollars shipped for a Kingston 256mb value ram stick.Works as good as the Akai 128mb brand.
