Hi all,

I have loaded in some drum loops into my 2500 as wav files, Im trying to get the loops to change with my global tempo but the loop stays at the same time.
I understand that i can manualy change the temp of a loop in my edit fetures, so its locked to whatever tempo i choose, but was wondering if there is a function that allows me to lock it to my global tempo, so that if i drop the tempo the drum loop automaticallyl follows the tempo change.
Is this possible with the 2500?

cheers

look in your manual for patched phrase. that should work pretty well for drum loops if it's a simple loop.

what patched phrase does is break the sample down into individual hits while keeping it stored as one sample, it then plays each hit along with the tempo of the beat, so the drum loop will stay in sync with the beat if you change the tempo.

Yep, patched phrase.

And you can also change bpm and link sequences in real time from the front page.

All will be covered later.
