Okay ppl, I've searched both the manual and the mpc-samples tutorial but can't seem to find the answer. Probably a noob question but anyway:

I load every program nice and create my sequences. Then, I trim some of my samples, like velocity, filter and switch from poly to mono etc. Then save everything, close down my machine and when I re-open it, it hasn't saved anything from my trimming procedures. So, I need to redo every single level again etc. It's getting really annoying to have to do all that every time I load the song. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

I've tried saving every single pad individually, trim the levels from the mixer and save on every available option. Jesus...

Okay, I've read the manual plus the mpc-samples tutorial and managed to save all changes on the internal mixer, but still I can't figure out how am I supposed to save all changes on individual velocities. Any suggestions?

it should be saved when you save .all and .aps and OVERWRITING them

this problem happened to me! it took me three months to sort it out or to even make a song and save it!

i had some munted ways of making tracks, like using the track mute screen and recording to tape, turning them on and off as i recorded, haha!

but now im getting there.

this is a very very minor set back and you must overcome it immediately!!!!! otherwise it will kill your productivity.

Make something, save ALL sequences and songs, save ALL programs and sounds - that means you change the setting when this window opens to 'with sounds'.

try again, let us know.

peace

Finally solved it. In order for the MPC to keep all the changes in the parameters you need to save individually all your programs every time you change something. I thought that this would be done by saving all programs, but for some reason it's not happening. Anyway, problem solved!
