Chopping samples with MPD24

Yo guys,

Will I be able to take like an 8 beat sample and chop it up so each beat is on a pad on my MPD24? I use FLStudio and I'm getting an MPD in a few days. Just wondering if there's an easy way to do it right in FL with the FPC or something.

Also, do the transport controls on the MPD sync with FLStudio?

it will work with fpc no problem and it should be fairly easy to setup. there is a VST plugin called Izotope phatmatik that you could use to chop your samples with and spread them across the pads using fpc. transport buttons will work if fruity loops supports MMC.
