I'm w/ Cheech . I don't know if I exactly "hate" crunk music but it is annoying the f#cking sh!t out of me . I guess you can't have the sweet w/o the sour . If it wasn't for all this bullsh!t we wouldn't love the real sh!zzy . Don't forget about UpAbove records , all the hottest shtuff comin' out is mostly on thier label , FatBeats too . Tired of "crunk music" ? Get out the lab and go get the new Dilated People's and Sound Provider's LP's . Guuuhhhhhhhhhddd sshhhhh!!!!!!eeeeetttt . Ghostface's new shtuff is pretty 'bout it , somewhere between IronMan & SupremeClientele (sampling is comin' back w/ a vengeance) .

There's nothing wrong with wanting to know what gear people use. Also when people say it's not the gear, it's the skill, that's Semi true. You ever said to yourself," if I only had that sound, or that keyboard, I'd be killin' these fools." We all have at one particular time or another. It doesn't mean you can't make hot sh$t with what you have, it just means you want more... It's called growth, that's a good thing.
I've done tracks with just an MPC and a Proteus, and I've made em with every board you can think of, and honestly, it gives you a lot more freedom when you have different choices. Nobody in here wants to make beats with just one piece of vinyl.
Keep an open mind and always strive for more.

yeah, i see what your sayin. I mean, if it inspires you then its good. Choice is always good becuase sometimes it difficult to get those sounds from your head to your equipment, with more choices the more likely you are to do just that.
