Can someone do me a quick painless favor

I sold my mpc 1000 w/ JJ OS about a week ago. The guy that I sold it too contacted me saying that when he hits the #1 pad it does tap tempo. Can someone tell me the step by step instructions to turn it back to pad one ?

like I know you hit MODE + PAD 11
but I cant remember the sequence from there, and dont have a mpc in front of me. I would greatly appreciate it if someone took the time to do me this small favor. Thanks

mode + pad 10 > f5 (pad mode)
everything else should explain itself.

why don't you tell him to completly restore it (hold erase on start up).
That way he will have all the default options and won't bother you 'bout shit.
