down button, motif es

ok im thinking of getting a motif es with midi controller and the down button on my 2kxl dosent work so i been getting around using left and right arrows but i see theres some stuff i cant get to and to do the whole midi thing will i need the down arrow on any screens?thanks if ya can check

i got the down button problem on my 2k too i gotta like jam on it to get it to move..maybe i can clean the contacts and it would work or get a new one off mpcstuff.com
