What is the Best Deal??

im looking to get a mpc 500 or 1k soon for cheap from craigslist and i need to know which is the best deal:

mpc500 for $500 maxed out mem.
mpc500 for $450 stock basically brand new
mpc1k for $650 good condition upgraded OS (i don't know what its upgraded to) 32mb cf card and CD of Drumkits which really is no use to me...

IMO I'd go with the 1K. My friends got one and I like the features on it.
I thought $650 might be a little high in price but that is the average price on Ebay. Just see if it comes with a hard drive or not.

get the 1k if your looking to do your chopping in the box. 500 lacks that key feature

500 is nice because of the portability. I'd never recommend getting a 500 if you don't have a decent mpc already.
