i just got an s950, but I'm having trouble using it.....it just makes no sense to me.
Maybe it's cuz the manual is older than me and I've never had an old machine like this before with floppy's n shit, but i can't seem to follow it.

can anyone guide me to an easy to follow walk thru or something to simple record from my turntable into the s950 and back out to my mpc 2500? (i don't need to edit or that in the 950, i just want the sound)

cheers.

what do you need help with? how to set up the unit (wires and stuff) or how to operate the unit? It should be pretty straight forward to record something on it...
oh well... there's a line-in on the front of the unit...
you plug in your turntable here (from your mixer) - turn on the unit...
press REC you can choose to record on the default
tone sample or rename it to something else... doesn't matter... press page down, choose your audio source (usually analog will do fine)..
press page down... choose the bandwidth you want to record at... press page down... choose the amount of time you want to record for... page down twice... choose any key or audio level by entering the corrosponding numbers...
you should be able to figure out the rest...

thanks man, I did manage to get it all sussed out though so its all good =]
I don't really know what I was doing wrong, but after a while it became very easy once i got used to the layout of it.
...and it sounds so much better than my 2500! i'm well chuffed =]

cheers!
