Some dude sold his collection. It was mostly jazz. "Nick Johnson," he wrote on all the covers... I know this, because I've been seeing it on records all over town all summer... It's weird, I want to hi-five Mr Nick Johnson, because he had some bomb records... There's another person, she had a stamp of her name, she was into disco and soul. The summertime makes me in an "Abigail" kind of mood... Herbie Hancock's nephew just sold a bunch of records to a shop, all really good jazz (obviously), but "well used" to say the least...

Sometimes I think they're sending me messages...Nick Johnson is in the room with me, nodding his head with me as I hear a song from his collection for the first time...

I wonder if he's dead, and somebody is cleaning out his estate...

What does your music collection say about the kind of person you are? Mine says something like, "this dude is kind of an idiot (dipset and metal records), but digs the good stuff too (grown man rap music and jazz)..."

mine say, "this dude cheap a cheap as mofo, but he diggin that good shit" cuz i leave all the dollar tags on them covers

yeah my dollar records i leave the stickers on some of them because people don't believe me when I say that I only paid that for some of that s.hit

yea i dont know why these people write on there records.....it really piss's me off when i get a record and it's all writen on.

why would they do that?

some these people just got tired of moving them around they get to old and say fuc it, i can get this on CD now. those the type people i like.

I used to place a sticker on the inside edge of the record opening so when you opened up the record you would know who owned it...

kind of like what yo mama did to your underwear when you was a youngsta =)

Seriously, I just had some mean record swiping friends...

I come from the era before they had every piece of classic vinyl repressed for the lazy.

yeah i got records like that.... what gets me is when folks put those stickers on 45's and tape them....especially whenit's some DOPE ASS RARE norhten soul record that gose for 600$.

I ain't gonna lie... as a shorty I used to tag all over my record covers and records. Now I look at those same records today and think "what the fk was I thinking???".

I did that too, but only plain whitesleeves though...

What I also hate is when people mark the 'good' tracks on an album. Mostly they were way off.

i found some records in my store that my frends had tagged up and talked allkinds of sh!t about me saying sh!t about qbert. just cause i wasnt riding his d!ck.
