I was just interested in how everyone goes about the process of mixing down from the MPC1000. aside from assigning outputs... What do you do next?
Answer the following to make it more simple:
=============================
1. Internal effects used on what (samples, drums, etc.)
2. Stereo/Mono tracks on input record (samples vs. drums)
3. Routing- (straight to A/D inputs vs. pre-compression, effects, mixing boards etc.)
4. Method of layout on program (infinite loop, then erase for track mutes vs. cut and paste)
5. Anything else related to Mix down of significance to you.
Ill be interested to hear how peoples methods differ. I would offer up my own method, but I haven't mixed down yet (only been on it 2 days)
