autochromatic

does os 2.1 have autochromatic? if it does, how do i access it?

i searched and really couldnt find the answer...

i don't recall it being on the akai os... at least not 2.10.
not sure about 2.11 since i never installed it.
it's definitely on the jj os 4.x

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to but try going to the 16 levels and changing velocity option to the tune option.

the mpc1000 with kai 2.11 does not support autochromatic.. but u can set it up manually

first u have to reorganize a programs note values so they arent mapped for the pads instread u will remap them to ur keys like on ur midi controller.

after that u have to assign the sample and tune it to every key manually. use the copy sound to pad option. just window the pad and ull see it. its much quicker copying a sound from one pad to another vs turning wheel to infinity to find the sample. make sure u have atleast 4 versions of the sounds when making keygroups this way u have no audio oddity when u playback..
