Replacement fader/ slider and tact switch in UK?

Anyone know where I can pick up a compatible replacement NV slider and tact switch in the UK for a 2000xl?
I think these things are pretty generic (i.e. not Akai specific)- does anyone know the spec I will need to look out for if I was buying from a general electronics store?
I really don't want to have to order these from mpcstuff or suchlike from the US.
