the note variation slider

...mine's broken, but i was wondering, does that mean i can't do certain things?


like i know i can change things like filter under program>params, just not in the main screen. so does the note variation slider have any function that aren't in other areas of the mpc?

shift+after

tap which sound u want on a pad.
pick wut u want the NV to do

and that should work when u go back to the main screen

You can do all that stuff in STEP EDIT.

1st : highlight the sound
2nd : choose between Attack, Filter, Decay or Tuning
3rd : roll the jog wheel to determine the amount of the note variation

It should look something like this:

36/A57 Tun:18+ Lgth:300 Vel:127


Or something... The MIDI numbers (the numbers on the far left) are not correct, I just threw in some numbers for it to look authentic..
