MPC Pads Dobule Hitting

just bought an mpcand somtimes when i hit the pad it plays the sound twice i set the poly of and shit to mono and it still does it i can hit them so it wont but if im just hittin them they play the sound double like the snare itll have two snares going, how to i solve this, do i have to wear them in a little?

your problem might be ur using two fingers to hit one pad..try using one finger that might solve your problem

practice makes it better

This is correct, just make sure your hitting the pad hard because if you hit it lightly sometimes it will double like that, the pads are very sensative.

by the way, this can sound really cool, even if on accident, if it happens at the right time.
