mpc 2k scsi problem

i just ordered an external scsi harddrive for my 2k classic. i formatted it and was able to save 4 sequences onto to HD. the next morning i tried to load them and the mpc screen kept reading "wait..." then "scsi not ready". my harddrive has no termination switch on the back so would this mean i need to buy a external termination or is there a way around this? thanks in advance fellas

Sounds like its probably a termination problem. Does your external HD have two scsi connectors on the rear? If so, you should get terminator for it.

yeah its got two on the rear. thats what i thought, ima order a 50 pin terminator off ebay tonite then. just had to double check
