had a dream last night

i ran into a waiter in some restaurant sellin a 2kxl w/ some crazy futuristic touch screen monitor that can adjust volume and everything.

i then yelled at him cuz he was asking for 600 and got it off of him for 400. then i made out with the cashier and walked off. if the future is anything like this, i'll be extremely pleased

Honestly, I had two fuc#ed up dreams in a row this week about mpcs.
One I was stealing a MPC60... and a crazy chase ensued.

The next night I was in my dream at the goodwill, and I was haggling with this toothless lady about copping the MPC60 under the counter for 100 bucks.

Weird.

Craziest thing would be AKAI to free their source codes for all the MPC's out there and let the party begin with JJ and the rest of the gang. That would be the craziest thing ever. Just imagine a 2kxl that would be compatible with more than 32mb ram or a 3000 with all the 2kxl features plus more...

Changing the OS wont give you more RAM, you'd need to do some work on the hardware. Also, there is a limit on OS size, so there is only so much work you can do before you have to start taking features out. Didn't the JJ OS have issues with this?

Besides the technicalities, yes, that would be crazy and awesome and I would never get any music done bec I'd be coding all the time
