Alright guys bare with me im a new member and a brand new owner of an mpc. I have some very BASIC questions and im just getting lost in the threads. if anyone wants to help answer my questions than dope!

i have the blue mpc2000xl MCD version that has the little flash drive.
I have no sounds on my mpc and i do not know how to load them, being no external sample source. I want to chop up samples on my computer using Recycle and load them into my mpc.

Do i need to install an external zip drive to my mpc to communicate files between the two? how do i load samples with just a flash drive on the mpc?
and if i do use a zip drive what would the MIDI inputs on the back of the mpc be used for?

since i have the blue 2000xl do i need to download an OS how do i know if i have one and what do they do?

will mpc editor come into play on any of this?

I also use Reason with a MIDI keyboard controller. can i take drum kits that are in Reason and use them in my mpc?

once configured in my mpc can i load everything into the Reason rack to mix and master the music? is this what ReLoad is for?

I know its alot of questions but im sure they can be answered quickly by the guru's or practically anyone with an mpc. thanks!

Damn son, where's your periods and comma's? I thought those grapefruits & oranges down there were loaded with vitamin C so they would help in aiding in ones spelling/vocabulary. :?
