what kind of paint did you use? Now that it's been awhile, do you regret doing it? I've been thinking of painting my card slot and sides...

I think it looks pretty tight, but not necessarilty something I'd want to work on everyday...has anyone painted their buttons with success? I mean without them being bumpy, or the paint wearing off?
Anyone?

There's dye that you can use. Ive seen people use it on xbox controllers and they had no problems.

beware that if you decide to paint your site panels to use some distance to the object.. about 30/40 cm..

Anyone here on this thread have experience with the dye?
Where to buy, how to use, etc...would be great to find out!
Spray paint woul dbe a good alternative too, I think I'd be more likely to screw that up though...

i just used vinyl dye on my buttons last night i will post pics later, its rather easy to use just like spray paint, i bought mine at advance auto parts (they are located on the mid to east coast). go here http://alcaron.blogspot.com/2006/12/noi ... oller.html this is the website the guy shows you how to paint a controller and somewhere on the page is a link to three websites that have three different brands of vinyl paint.

figured i'd bump this thread and see if any new pics surface. I'm thinking of changing up the appearance on my 1000 out of boredom with the current looks.
