mpc60 output volume

Just bought a mpc 60 mk1, i'll shoot some pics later. Is it normal that the volume of the stereo outs are very low? When I compare it with my old mpc2000xl it's a huge difference. Thanks...

8 outs are worst they are unbalanced.

That really does not matter too much...

unless dude is running long cables or has class A gear and a discrete front end.


makes tracking easier too.

I run the 8 outs from my machines into a discrete console and direct out into whatever the medium may be and I haven't run into any noise problems.

^SLT, got any new tunes to check for? you did that 'french twist' track a while back, right? i trust your word as i remember that track soundin' real nice!

naw. That was somebody else that did french twist...maybe that cat Season.

As for new tunes, yes but few recorded. I just leave them on floppy until they need to be tracked & mixed.
