How To Save and Export Song Made On MPC1000 To Computer!!

Hey guys. I'm new to the whole MPC and just cant figure out how to export the beat i just created to my computer. Can anyone offer a tutorial or and explanation of how to go about this.. Its frustrating having to redo each beat everytime i shut my machine off.. Thanks and sorry if this is a stupid question lol....

Redo your beat every time you turn it off? Save your SEQ, PGM, and SONG data. There's an option to "save all seqs and songs" to your flash card, I would reccomend this. You shouldn't have to redo the whole song every time you turn it off, even with out a computer.

As far as getting it to the PC you have a few options. You can resample the entire song, and then transfer it to the PC, or you can record the outs of your MPC to the ins on your PC sound card. You can either do the whole song at one time this way, or do one part at a time so you can have more control over the final mix.

How would i transfer the song from the mpc to my computer?? I understand the line out on the mpc to the line in on computer way.. But how would i go about transfering it through the mem card or stricly through the usb cord? can you?

yeah all right so youve got your beat made and done and youve already finished it in song mode... so then you hit your mode button followed by pad 5 the record pad... swith it to main out and record... then when you save that song will be in samples and in wav format... save it and go to your usb screen and transfer it....

Could you go through that process of saving the song in a wav format having trouble with it. I just want to transfer it via usb. Any help would be appreciated.

do you guys find that if you record your song via Main Out, that it doesnt sound the way it did when u play the beat the regular way. Isn't there a better way than just bouncing it from song mode to a sample?

go to the OTHER screen and change the master level to 0db

then recording the main outs will sound the same
