Program Maker Problems

aight my boy is tryin to use the MPC editor and recycle. He cant seem to get it to work.
He has the editor from www.mpc1000.com I dont have the 1k so if anyone knows whats up. He is trying to save the .akp file and import it into the editor then make a .pgm file and then load up in the 1k. I tried to walk him through it, but no dice. He has the Demo of Recycle and is tryin it out with the editor.

Can't get what to work? Finding Export in menu? Finding a shortcut to launch the app?

I am not sure what is disabled in the demo of Recycle. It is pretty straight forward. What you do is open a wave file. Chop it up. You have to tell it how many bars the loop has. Click on the File option and go to Export. Choose .AKP file and save it where ever you want. Bring up the MPC1000 program editor. There is a "Import AKP" option. Click on that and you have a browser. Browse to the file you saved out of Recycle. Click open and it automatically saves each slice to a pad starting at pad 1 and assigns sequentially Pad 1 = 36(C1) Pad 2 =37(C#1) Pad 3 = 38(D1) etc.

yeah thats what I told him. He cant get the the program to load the files. I have never had a problem and can load the files from recycle into the 2kxl editor then load it in recycle. It seems pretty straight forward. I am doin this online so I cant show him physically.

sorry I thought I addressed the problem. He cant get the program file to load the samples. If you can just give a detailed run down on the process. I explained it the best way I could and he still couldn't get it.

maybe your boy should be the one to ask the question...he wants to know, let him do the research, you feel me?

hold up labworkz!!!! 1st of all, i'm not going to get into a flame war with you, it's pointless, secondly, if you can IM binger0 for help, why not just cut the middle man out and come directly here, tuff guy?! i respect the fact that he was trying to help you out, but don't try to son me here dukes, it's not worth it...

further more, the demo has a time limit of 15 minutes, after which it wont work, got it?

which demo? Recyle only lets you use 4 loops for the demo. I dont think its a time thing. Lets not beef bout this homies. Chill back all. I posted it cause I thought I could ask the quest better. I had no probs wit it so maybe this thread should help u lab
