Mpc 1000 and z4 sampler. I would use the MPC for the drums and to sequence the samples in the Z4 sampler.

a nice, simple but powerful setup. the key is the work flow. it does not matter what your equiment/setup is as long as the workflow is there for you. all you need now is a mixer and monitors and you are set. at least for a while

Good setup, but I would throw a MIDI keyboard in there. You gonna get sick of playing the Z4 on the pads real quick.

my man in a sort of type of way u have a makeshift mpc 4k so u good baby and i agree a midi keyboard would make it complete

yeah, I think the MPC 4000 is what you're looking for, integrated Z4/Z8 sampler and MPC ish all in one unit...

I don't know . . . . . maybe it's just me . . . . . but I've always seen the 4000 as 10 lb.s of sh!t in a 1 lb. bag .
