No. why would you want to?

Yeah, that's the question, what's more that you would like to see...?

Why would I want to?
-to have a larger display simply for eyesight comfort

What more would I like to see?
-well that could open up a whole can of worms as far as display info is involved but like the other question....just for eyesight comfort, would be nice to have it on a monitor next to my other workstations, in the same fashion that you can have the Akai sys editor for the s5000/6000.

Take a joke. I represent myself and no one else so dont go and blame it on the forum. you have your answere, be happy, you act like I didnt try to help. Go get some software if you cant see the screen and it hurts your eyes. poor baby waaah waaaah. If your mature you wont respond to my immature response because believe it or not Im here to help and If I can make someone smile on top of that then even better. lighten up.

i dont think it would work,

because the MPC2000 screen is an LCD screen which is completely different to a computer monitor or TV which uses pixels.

basically underneath the MPC screen is a special liquid which contains crystals, and when an electric current runs through the liquid the crystals all line up end to end which has the effect of blocking out light

The 3000 is an LCD screen as well but it has the VGA out.

I think you ought to get a 3000 or 4000 for this holmes, I would go 3000 personally, the 3000 screen is bigger than the 2000's, and the layout is less crowded and easier to get around on.

I know Forat does a mod for the Linn 9000 where they add a larger screen that sits on top. The mod costs around $250, but I dont know if they can do it for the 2000 or if the screen would be the size you want. Maybe you should e-mail and ask them this question.
