there is still a problem with recorded samples on muted tracks. in v4.85, he changed this bug:

[MAIN]
[TRACK MUTE ON]
[Program Play:MONO]
PAD hit sounds is muted by the recorded note events on the muted track

i had some serious problem with this, because it rendered some of my sequences unusable.

but now after overworking it, i found the same problem with "mute target" samples.
1. set 2 samples to mute target
2. record one of them
3. mute this track
4. play the other sample.
bug: sample gets cut-off by 'mute target'-sample on muted track.

i just reported it, but feel free to check it and report, too.

Word up! Sometimes that is useful because I've had some of my older programs load up with missing samples and the text will remain so I'll know what and where to load up the sample from my card. I think I'll pass on this one for now

I haven't used 4.86 yet, but the missing samples should still appear (say if you load the program without samples). What i think JJ has corrected was a saving issue. In 4.85 if you made a new program by using an old one as a template and saved the program with new samples , any remaining missing ?samples(i.e not in RAM but referenced in the program) would delete the actual samples off the card/HD.
