 This pic is sick!

The way the green letters from the screen reflects in the area around the pads. Plus the card reader. Plus the clean 60II... Crazy!

I'm allways glad to see people who keep their gear clean!

Can't believe that guy who got old sh*t all over his 60's pads...

Yeah, I had heard the same but when I bought my 3K, it came with the VGA so I tried it with my regular monitor (HPvs15); which is a standard monitor nowadays and it worked great. I haven't tried it with anything else but it obviously isn't just limited to older Mac monitors.

It took me a while to find a monitor that worked. In the end I was given an old 14/15" CRT that works just fine. An LCD would be great but, I wouldn't want to spend much on it. It's not that important.

Thanks, man!! I'm extremely happy with my 3K!

All I need is for Rohan to hook it up with multiple programs and I don't think I'll ever consider another sampler.

Sorry about the pic quality... And I had to use flash because the room was so dark.

Got the reel-to-reel this monday free from my uncle who worked at the Tandberg factory. It has barely been used, and works perfect! My other TTX deck (inside flight-case) is broke

Yo djobserv -It's the motor for shure. It just wouldn't work one day. All the dots in the display are flashing, like its supposed to do if the platter is removed. All buttons responds, exept those who start/stop and reverse the motor.

Anyone know how to fix this problem? Or do I have to take it to the repair shop?

really common problem...

there was a topic on the dstyles board 2 years ago, cant pull up the article cause some fu*ker hacked it, but i remember a dude had to replace the main IC chip under the platter and under the plastic covering, i think its the main chip considering it had a hinksink on top....

if yours is the first generation ttx, that should fix the problem, but im not 100 percent sure, if yours is the 2nd genereation, it has the motor torque settings, thier should be a vent under the platter.... so with that im not sure if its the same problem..

touches on the problem...

might be best to take it to the repair shop, i'll poke around to see if i can find the issue....

I'm not shure if its the first generation, but I bought it four years ago, and it had not been out for long then. Is there a way to check what model?

Never should have trusted new gear. With all that technology inside the turntable, it's bound to break. I need to get Tech 1210's again.
