44.1k & 96k use

Can 44.1k and 96k samples be used together in a song? I have the internal clock set to 96k for sampling, but I want to use some sounds from MPC-3000 & 4000 disk (both sampled at 44.1k) with the newly sampled stuff.

my clock is set at 44.1 and i've used 24 bit/96khz percussion samples in the same sequence as 16 bit sounds.

Cool. Are the 96k samples your creation, oor did you buy them? What companies make the higher bit and sample rate CD-ROMS?
