What up yo?

I am looking for a twangy voice based bass and cannot find a good sample for it. I was hoping someone would give up the info on where it get it. If you remember the sample, it's like a male voice is kind of hitting the part. It's not the DJ Cheese joint but alot of Cali dudes used to rock with it. I know cube had it for "Throw your set in the Air" and I think Ice T used it in the movie Breakin. It's real heavy and I know its vague but hope someone remembers or may have it for sale or trade.

Let me know...

Thanks,

Gary

Hey e.d.e,

But the sample I am talking about was in ICE CUBE's second FRIDAY movie theme, maybe "throw yo set in the air" or "throw your set"?? (It was the song that started Cube and B-Reals beef because of what B-Real called a blatant bite of a song, B came out with a Jam (a few) but one that had a bunch of East Coast dudes n it as a response) Not sure but its an old Cali sample. But a heavy pounding base but with a male voice "BUMP, BUM, BUM, BUMP, BUMP BUM, BUMP. If you've seen BREAKIN, its on the scene that they are showing and panning the outside of the club heading into the final battle. I hope this helps....

lol sorry Ed wasn't answering to your post bud, should have quoted.. it was in reference to the brothers original question. Without listening back and just going by the BUMP BUMP description I thought he may be on about "beatbox" by the art of noise

I may have to go dig out the tracks now cos its got me interested haha

Good example but no, I know its in Breakin and the DOC used a varient in his Helter Skelter album, but its not it... The original is hard, real hard, almost like you could tell its from Cali....
