Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't spreading the wavesample across the board like that still leave only 1 wavesample, thus any changes made to the start and end points of the sample affect every key.
Yes.

Am I correct in assuming that the only way to chop the sample would be to manually copy a wavesample one by one and assign them to keys, or willl setting the high lo range on an individual wavesample allow me to make individual changes to the start and endpoints?

I just want to know is there a way to spread the sample across keys to chop without having to manually make copies of the wavesample and assign them to keys
Yeah, what Goldfronts said. In the maunal it's called, copy params+data or copy params or copy data. Make a params copy of the original WS, edit the params of the COPIES and leave the original data in full play, meaining don't chop it, chop the COPY WS's params instead. This will ONLY use the original data in RAM and no physical extra RAM copies made.

But yeah, there's no autochop or autochromatic functions, you do ALOT of things MANUALLY, it gives you COMPLETE control when you are made to do it like that. It's like chopping a riff/break into one note segments, you have complete control over how that riff/break is played back ya see? Like GF said, it's advanced for a reason, yeah it's a pain to some but to understanding users it's a joy to have that kind of control in the machines you use.
