Hey,

I was wondering if the 4K could manipulate the sound chromatically without changing the pitch similar to a Roland MC 909. I thought you could go go to the main sample page and do it. But I've heard otherwise. How do I get this effect on my 4K?

you mean without changing length, chromatic is pitch.

I don't know, but roland has that technique on lock with that variphrase tech. I would guess no, but if it has timestretch you can do it yourself if it is not an option.

Save the sample as a keygroup program. Go to Program page press the f3 button set the range of notes in the keygroup. Next Edit 1 page change to all go back to pitch page and change Pitch zone to constant. If need be go to pad editor and adjust there too.
