This thing is fvcing SICK!!!!!!!!!!! EASY to use.......if you have experience with this type of gear......Took less than a minute to hook up to my MPC and K Station, It took me less than 5 minutes to figure out basic functions....using multiple sounds at once, changing sounds, etc......Well worth the money, and the sounds, are incredibly real.....Highly recommend..

Damn, you must be a genius. I got this rack, and to me it is a complete pain in the ass. I love it to death, but only because of the sounds. Multi mode is KINDA easy to get a grip on, but I hate the fact that you can only use one voice per midi channel, unless you know a work around?. The manual on this thing is THE WORST, and getting into certain screens is hard. It took me like a day and a half to figure out how to use the assignable outputs because the manual said to hit the PART button, and my rack has no such button labeled PART. I am still waiting for the editor to be released for OSX, and I got this rack back in Oct! I guess I don't mind waiting because I have more than enough to learn about it in the meantime. But yeah, congrats! Some sounds on this board are amazing.

Yamaha manuals are the worst, and their operating systems have a history of being a pain in the arse to use... I have a yamaha tx16w sampler that I NEVER use because of this same reason.

I've heard from numerous people that htis synth is incredible and I know it's reputation... I'm considering getting one.... How are the bass sounds on it though... To me, That's real important... Because a lot of syths can get good Electric Piano and Synth Wave sounds and String sounds, but not many can get a really good Funk or Jazzy Bass sound... I'm looking for like nice laidback bass sounds that will have a smooth feel to them... Anything like this on there.

Have you tried typhoon? It's a replacement operating system for the tx16w. It's free.

guitar center people are just there for commission, i dont even go there anymore because you want something and they try to sell you another thing for like an extra 2bills. i bought the motif rack on friday too, ish is off the hook, did you try the rap lead?? i made a straight club banger. most of my ish is dark when i flip samples so i need this to give me that edge.

The display unit that has been touched by HUNDREDS OF HANDS which has resulted in scratches, fingerprints, and loosened knobs SHOULD NOT be anywhere near "Brand New" pricing......
