Trk:11-TRK11____________*

Can't say I have ever named my sequence tracks all the way out to the end in this regard.

The "*" kind of looks interesting, cool even.

Where corrupted files are concerned, "*" characters show up in the sound load screens instead of others types that would cause screen garbage to appear.

......and you wouldn't be able to load them in most cases where corruption exists.

Teletran1 wrote:I've been meaning to ask Rohan about this. It only happens ever so often but I can never find any trace of corruption.

There probably isn't any corruption of the SEQ.

You would know if the sequences got corrupted. ( The MPC3000 will throw up a message and attempt to repair the sequence if corruption occurs )

I doubt it too, however; I take all reports of weird object sighting seriously enough to look into them.

Teletran1 wrote:If you're reading this, Rohan: Let me know if it's some sort of error.

Maybe it's Vailixi's star drive spinning up center screen and "*" marking sequences to tell you that they're out of this world !!! :-)

Seriously though ... regardless if there is anything wrong or not I will check the situation all the same.

More soon.

Nice pictures everyone ...... maybe I'll post mine soon :-)

Cheers folks.

Rohan.

Yeah the 60 is brand new. Its my second mpc60, I bought it from a guy who,d bought it 16 years ago and never touched it. Paid 300$ CANADIAN!!! A real joke... I traded my first 60 for the SP12, also in mint condition. When I,ll be back, I,ll probably buy a MPC3000.

peep the vocal booth I just finished. it used to be a closet. it came out really dope, i can track vocals at 3am without my landlord hearing a peep. I used Owens Corning 703 Acoustic Insulation, none of that crappy eggcrate foam.

+ 1000000 for the PIANO BASS!!

i believe thats the first one i've seen on here!!

By chaotic Fri Oct 12, 2007 1:28 pm
haha. yeah, the piano bass is badass. im a big Portishead fan, so when i saw that thing come into guitar center i snagged it before it got on the shelf, i paid $500 for it too, which is a pretty good deal since its in mint condition.
