Need some help

I need some help here, I got the mpc up and running, connected to the interface, but I dont know how to get anything to play. I downloaded the Reaper program but im confused with it, I dont know what settings I need to set on my computer. Im lost here, someone please help me out, thanks.

Na, I dont know what the **** is goin on here. According to the manual I need a CD-Rom to load sounds, but I never got one, even if I did I wouldent be able to figure out how to get any sound out of this thing? I cant seem to figure this shit out so really dont know what to do with it.

1st calm down homie. What MPC are you using and what manual are you reading? If you want help you have to answer those questions at the minimum. Don't make us guess....

lol, MPC 2000, never got the manual with it so I downloaded that one for the 2000xl. But I dont think having a CD-Rom has anything to do with this. All im trying to do is load some sounds in, but I dont know how to hear any of them anyway because I cant seem to get any output on my computer. I was able to load the sounds a few days ago, now it wont let anything load, I havent used the machine so there are no beats or anything saved, so the memory should basically be empty.
