Zip drive for mpc 2000

hey ,
i just bought a zip drive (iomega zip 100)for the mpc 2000 . its a parralel port zip drive but it wont read it. Do i have the wrong one , if so wat do i need

It needs to be scsi. Parallel drives don't work.
