hey, what did you do about the lights for playback, rec, bank change etc. all those little tiny light holes look like a b*tch to get around.

i think(errr) the mpc template file was never changed to outlines so you can pick any font you want...maybe.if anyone uses them lemme know how it works out.

yeah man, i was just gone use urs and make a 2000xl one out of it.... but i only have Jasc Photoshop and it can't open up those .AI files.... and i dont know anybody with Adobe Illustrator, so i think i'ma just type up the stuff on the computer and print it on clear decal paper.... i wish i woulda thought bout it before I painted it, i woulda just took it to an image place and had them make me a screen shot.... dawg u know i called Akai to see how much it would cost for me to get the black buttons... they told me over $150!?

The bank lights, Record, Play, play start, track mute, next sequence and all when you take the cover off you can pop the little clear light conducters out...... thats what I did and once it was all finished I applied a little clear on the inside and stuck the peices back in to dry.......Its easy

Phatz, i aint' even notice the little light pieces that you could pop out... i chewed up some gum, and tore lil pieces off and covered the lights up, lol... then i told the Airbrush guy to touch it up a lil... but ur way of doin it is much better, i wish i woulda thought of it too..

how about templates for the mpc 1000 and the 4000?
Im going to start doing these type of custom jobs
i have the tools and everything....plus some dope ideas!
Anybody want to offer some tips,feel free to.
Im going to customize more than MPCs
